Welcome to the January 2026 edition of our Pets in Turkey newsletter!
What we’ve done since mid-December
While closing the year and stepping into 2026, we were busy, in a good way!
Since mid-December, we have:
Rescued 20 dogs and 4 cats
Started 21 titer tests (each costing €200+)
Ongoing treatments for
• 1 distemper case (Mona)
• 1 kennel cough case (Bear)
• 3 heartworm cases from recent rescuesSpayed 6 dogs
Administered 106 vaccinations
Countless deworming treatments
However, unfortunately, our clinic debt has increased again and currently stands at €20,000.
The good news is that we will be part of GlobalGiving’s Little by Little matching campaign in March, and we need your support to help spread the word.

Support needed for Hope
Hope (formerly, Twinkle) was one of the seven puppies of Bonita, who gave birth under our care after being rescued pregnant.
Hope later developed serious hip issues affecting multiple legs. Her family reached out to us to help spread the word and ask for support. The required surgeries are costly, and any help — whether a donation or simply sharing the link — is appreciated.
